Grilled Lemon and Garlic Prawns

Cooking time: 25 minutes


Ingredients (serves 12):

    1kg peeled prawn (deveined and tail on)

    2 cups butter

    2 tsp minced garlic

    3 tbsp lemon juice

    6 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese


Method:

  1. Preheat grill. With a sharp knife, split prawns across the underside. Arrange prawns on a tray.

  2. In a small saucepan, melt butter with garlic and lemon juice. Pour 1/4 cup butter mixture in a small bowl, and brush onto prawns. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over shrimp.

  3. Place griller on top rack, and grill prawns for 4-5 minutes or till done. Serve with remaining mixture.
